Fork and Shock Service Intervals

Why carry out maintenance?

Firstly it stops damage to the suspension components but also it allows the suspension to perform at its optimum. A freshly service fork has significantly less friction than a fork requiring a service. The reduction in breakaway friction improves small bump sensitivity, which translates into more grip with less fatigue which allows you to ride faster for longer. This is  important if your racing or just riding for fun with your riding buddies. Prices for our services can be found here for forks and shocks

Signs of using suspension over service intervals

Rockshox Service Intervals

Rockshox recommend lower leg or air can services at 50 hours. With damper services starting at 100hrs which can be seen in the Rockshox Service Interval Guide

Fox Service Intervals

Fox recommends servicing forks or shock at a minimum every 125hrs or yearly which ever comes first. However we recommend carrying out at least 1 lower leg or air can oil change between services to keep everything running perfectly.
